Real Hoops Director - Kevin Driscoll
Kevin Driscoll, the Director of Real Hoops has spent the last 25 years coaching or playing basketball at the high school & college level including 10 years as a Division 1 assistant coach. Today, Coach Driscoll is a recruiting advisor, Exposure Camp Operator & Film Study Coach. Coach Driscoll uses his knowledge, experience, & connections to help student athletes improve their game through film study & boost their recruitment through exposure camps and recruiting advising.
Coach Driscoll spent 4 years at Marist College In NY, a member of the MAAC Conference. During his Time At Marist, The Red Foxes Recruited & Developed 3 Straight All Rookie Selections As well as the 2022 MAAC Rookie Of The Year.
Prior to his arrival at Marist, Driscoll had most recently served as assistant coach at Loyola University Maryland of the Patriot League in 2017-18 season on the staff of head coach G.G. Smith.
He was an assistant coach at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in the 2016-17, and was an assistant at Holy Cross from 2013-16. In the 2015-16 season, the Crusaders won four straight road games to capture the Patriot League Tournament championship, and then won an opening-round NCAA Tournament game.
Driscoll has four years of experience as Director of Hoop Group Elite Camp and began his coaching career with three years as an assistant at Albright College. He helped the Lions go 44-32 in three years on the staff including records of 17-9 with a pair of runner-up finishes in the Middle Atlantic Conference in both 2007-08 and 2008-09.
Driscoll began his coaching career as the head boys’ basketball coach at his alma mater, Hamburg (Pennsylvania) High School, from 2004-06.
Driscoll earned his Bachelor of Arts in sports management and was a four-year letterwinner at Misericordia University, helping the Cougars to a pair of ECAC Division III Postseason Tournament appearances. Driscoll was No. 2 on the Cougars’ career field-goal percentage chart at the time of his graduation after making 56.6 percent of his shots.
Director of On-Court Skill Instruction & Lead Instructor - Chris Kovensky

Chris Kovensky serves as the Director of On-Court Skill Instruction and Lead Instructor at Real Hoops, bringing elite training and development experience to student-athletes who are striving to elevate their game and reach the next level. At Real Hoops, Coach Kovensky leads advanced skill development sessions, emphasizing game-ready techniques, basketball IQ, and competitive performance.
Prior to joining Real Hoops, Coach Kovensky spent over a decade with the Old Dominion University men’s basketball program, where he advanced from video coordinator to assistant coach, contributing to player development, scouting, and on-court instruction. During his time at Old Dominion, Kovensky worked closely with student-athletes to enhance fundamentals and helped guide the program through multiple competitive seasons, including the Monarchs’ 2022-23 campaign in the Sun Belt Conference (Old Dominion Athletics).
In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Coach Kovensky has served as a skills instructor for numerous highly touted players after their collegiate careers, working with professional and elite prospects (Old Dominion Athletics). He was also the head coach of Monarch Nation in the 2018 The Basketball Tournament (TBT) (Old Dominion Athletics).
Coach Kovensky played both basketball and football at Albright College, where he earned degrees in fine arts and business administration, and later completed a Master’s in Sports Management at Old Dominion (Old Dominion Athletics). His deep background in skill training, recruiting insight, and competitive coaching makes him a valuable mentor for players pursuing high school, prep, and college basketball success.
